Hello everybody,

my name is abijith and i am from kerala.

i am very glad to be here,thanks to malayalam wikipedia,

And , it is my first wiki conference, .

also it is my first english talk.

i know there will be so many mistakes.

but i believe mistakes are only a step of winning it.

I am here to say a simple explanation about wiki translation and about school wiki.

i thinks you peoples will like it.

first of all we want a account in wikipedia,in which language you prefers.

after creating the account we have to select which language you are translating.

its a common language to you it will be simple.

in wikipedia now we have a tool for translating.

it names as content translation, Content Translation allows you to create an initial version of a Wikipedia page based on an existing version from a different language .The tool is targeted to users that know two or more languages.

it can be done as,

type in google content translation, and take wiki article about the content translation.

here we can see the title try the tool, below it there is a link special:content translatio.

click on that.

then a tab will appear like this.

click on the start a new translatio.

then select the language of the main article,

and here select the language of the article you are going to translate.

we can type in the from box english, and in the to box malayalam.

now here select name of the article in english.

we can take the article about panjaby peoples.

copy the name of the article and paste it here.

and below here the translation title.

after all that click the start translation button.

now we can see a tab have two boxes and etc.

in this box, there will be the content of the article.and here we will type.

content translation helps the editors to edit easily.

in this bar we can write bold, and italics.

also we can simply link to another page.

after all that here click the publish button, and it will publish as a new article.

i am say about content translation which only as a tool for it.

in the translation process there will problem about the same meaning.

when i am in translation when comes the meaning problem i use google translation, but it have somany limits.

but we can use it.

and also we don't want the exact same meaning.

but in another way we want it.

translation is not a exact meaning copy paste.

it is a flow of from to another.

a person only know both language can do the translation fluently.

in the modern world all are in the internet.

but the editers in malayalam wikipedia, are very short.

we have to expand it.

give the information for the next generation.

we can start from the school.

the school wiki.

for that we have to do wiki as a colourful thing.

now wiki is not colourful.

to invite editer to wikipedia they have to like it.

All the thing we want to do is, again start from the base.

childrens are the base.

when the base is strong enough we can build a whole planet.

knowledge is not for me or not for you, it for all of us,

to make that tell about wiki pedia and it's importance to childrens.

we can't force them, but we can make them.

today marks and grades are the important things, we can go that way also.

who creates more article in wikipedia, give him or her many gift, that can be marks, or grades or etc.

but wikipedia is not a game,and also we have to not make it as price machine.

in all the way all have limits, tell them about wikipedias limits.

tell them knowledge is not for sale.

and it is priceless.

as a child i know i have only base plan of school wiki,and also i have limits.

here i am standing for childrens.

i loud my voice for them.

to empower wiki and my friends.
